Spring greetings to all of you. We are looking forward to our 21st Annual Training Conference being held in Quincy, IL. May 8 – 10th, 2008. The last time Quincy hosted our annual meeting it was an outstanding conference including dinner on a river boat cruise. Mailings regarding the conference should be mailed to you shortly if you have not already received information.

In addition to the informative sessions during the conference, net working is always an important part of the meeting. The opportunity to share important ideas while gaining information about other programs’ successes is valuable to each and every program.

Dr. Camp continues as the Chair of the Certification Committee and will be happy to spend time with you and answer questions you may have about certifying your program. The Newcomers School will be held on Thursday evening for both board members and coordinators. ISCSA board members will facilitate this informative session and will be answering your individual questions. ISCSA encourages you to attend and be involved in sharing ideas.

Each program is important and makes a difference in the safety of our communities and state. Thank you for all you do and I look forward to visiting with you during the 21st Annual Training Conference in Quincy.
